(The Other) Dale C., Nov 9, 2009, 3:39AM ESTI apologise for over-reacting, myself. Man.. things can get outta hand here.
One word about your healthcare, etc. Have you ever considered moving to the lower 48 or closer to services? You've gotta be able to find year round work, to even come close to paying for insurance. And BTW.. I hate insurance companies as much as anyone. No different than Mafia.... only legalized.
Health reform, is what I and most others would like to see. Not a complete take-over, by the gov'ment. If providers don't reform, THEn kick their butts. I'm tired of greed, myself. I hate corporate America. If they were to lower prices all around, they'd sell more products, make just as much money, but more people could be happier with this miserable life.
I'm broke and on disability. I'd much rather be working, but I can't even do my carving to make additional income, without losing the disability. I have to wait until I'm on regular retirement.
Our whole system needs reform. No doubt about that. But it's nearly impossible to reform greed.
I understand your situation only too well. When I was younger I made choices I shouldn't have. Resulting in top earnings one year of a little over 30 grand. The rest of my life, I've been a poor broke slob, like too many others.
Yeah... I do lean to conservative thought, but that does not mean I'm a republican. I'm an equal opportunity politician hater. They ALL need the boot, so we can start anew and get rid of the corruption on both sides of the aisle.
Take care and good luck with your situation. I don't hate you, either. But I was really upset that you and others thought I was dissing the troops. Egad. -
(The Other) Dale C., Nov 9, 2009, 2:20AM ESTOh, by the way... I just read the post you are referring to. Hey knuclkehead... I was referring to YOU as being PTSD'd to pieces, just like that whacked out Muslim freak, that should have been discharged dishonorably, long ago.
I'm not happy about your wife being ill, but I was referring to ONLY YOUR POST. You were flipping out.
Now... leave me be.
I think you need counseling, yourself... especially from your pings, but also, from your comment on the post about healthcare. Sheesh... talk about over react to a situation. You getting treatment for PTSD? If not, I hope you get to a VA healthcare facility soon, if you are a vet. -
(The Other) Dale C., Nov 9, 2009, 2:13AM ESTFirst off, I think you need to lead me to the Fort Hood Shooting link. I don't remember commenting on it, for one thing. And if I did, I don't remember saying anything negative about the troops. You'd best go back to the article and check to see if you're giving shit to someone who doesn't deserve it. I'm a Vietnam Vet, you jerkbutt. I finished my time in the Army AT Ft. Hood. I was in 'Nam ... and you think that I WOULD DISMISS ANY VETERAN??? NOT AFTER BEING SPIT ON AND CALLED BABY KILLER. NOT IN THIS FLIPPIN' LIFETIME, you freak of nature!
I see you claim to be a vet. Right now, I'm assuming your claim is very misleading and I seriously doubt you've ever set foot in a war zone, much less worn the fine uniform of our miltary.
And again. I probably have more respect for our troops, than you can ever imagine. Whatever it is that makes you think I'm dismissing our troops, is wrong.... period.
I think you need to go see a psychologist, yourself... if you can dig your way out of whatever bottle or drug you've been using too much of.
Again.... I have never dismissed or dishonored ANY of our troops. I am a highly patriotic person, whether you realize it or not. So get off my ass. Go sit in your outhouse, smoke more of what you're smoking, and do some thinking for a change. -
(The Other) Dale C., Nov 8, 2009, 9:40PM ESTI'm a veteran. I do not disrespect our troops. What in the He** are you talking about, Mr site shrink? I do not have a clue and in any case, you know nothing about me, especially enough to JUDGE me. So be careful what you say about me. Got that, pal?
